A PARTIAL LIST OF SUCCESSFUL CASES ATTORNEY BLOCK HAS HANDLED:

• Felony Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute and Maintaining a Drug House. All charges dismissed at preliminary examination using the Michigan Medical Marihuana Act Defenses for the accused patient and her husband caregiver.

• Criminal Sexual Conduct (Stepfather accused of Molestation): Charges not filed.

• Home Invasion 1st Degree & Safe Cracking (a Life offense). Dismissed at Preliminary Exam.

• Possession of Illegal Drugs: Dismissed at Preliminary Exam.

• Felon in Possession of Firearm: Reduced to "Disturbing the Peace."

• Fail to Register as a Sex Offender (SORA): Case dismissed.

• Criminal Sexual Conduct 1st Degree: Dismissed at Preliminary Exam.

• Driver’s Licenses Restored. We have helped numerous drivers restore their driver's license.  One driver was without a license for 13 years after two drunk driving DUI offenses in 1992. He tried to have his privileges restored on his own four different times without success. We represented him at the Driver License Appeal Division (DLAD) hearing, the driver was again denied, but we won on appeal.

• Drunk Driving: Reduced to Careless Driving.

• Felony Failure to Return Rental Property: Dismissed one week before trial and after corporeal lineup.

• Possession of Cocaine: Reduced to Use of Marijuana.

• Drunk Driving Child Endangerment: Reduced to Impaired Driving.

• Assault with Intent to Cause Great Bodily Harm: Dismissed at Preliminary Exam.

• Blue Sky Securities Alleged Violation: Case successfully settled.
