The Rothbury Music Festival.

In 2008, organizers created a four day Woodstock type of music event in Rothbury, Michigan aptly called the Rothbury Music Festival. This four day camping and music extravaganza draws huge headliner acts (70 acts in 2008) and music fans (40,000 in 2008) from all over the United States. Numerous undercover police and narcotic officers are brought in from all over the state and they are constantly on the look out for illegal drugs -- including marijuana. Despite the national trend that is relaxing the harsh standards for medical marijuana, concert fans have been arrested and charged for marijuana and other drug crimes. Remember this is not 1969 and this is not the 'Summer of Love.'

Rothbury fans who are arrested and charged are brought to the Oceana County Courthouse and jail located in the City of Hart, Michigan. This is a small county, and the penalties for breaking Michigan's drug laws are stiff, including jail time.

If you are accused or arrested, do not just ignore the charge and go back home to your home state and think that it will somehow magically disappear. Contact us for help. We have successfully helped Rothbury Music Festival concert-goers busted for selling or smoking or using marijuana, ecstasy, and other illegal drugs.
